Mary Adams is a co-founder of the organic innovation hub 3rd Space and serves as Executive Director and Trustee of the Emergence Foundation, which supports pioneering social and environmental initiatives across the UK and Europe.
Her academic journey began with a degree in South Asian Philosophy and Language from Australian National University, after which she embarked on years of immersive inquiry in India—under the guidance of sages like Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj, J. Krishnamurti and Vimala Thakar.
Trained in psychotherapy and a founding member of the Gaia House International Meditation Centre, Mary has co-founded and facilitated human-development centres in the UK, Europe and the USA. She is also a long-time student and partner in the work of Andrew Cohen—sharing 27 years of practice, inter-subjective dialogue facilitation, group design and intentional-community living.
Now based in London, Mary writes, designs intercultural dialogues and engages in non-violent civil-disobedience initiatives—working within a global network committed to shifting the paradigm that underpins the planetary metacrisis we face today.
