Jennifer Garvey Berger is co-founder, CEO, and Chief Cultivating Officer of Cultivating Leadership, where she works with executives and organizations navigating complexity and change. She holds a master’s degree and a doctorate from Harvard University, and her work draws on adult development theory to help leaders build the capacity to meet problems that don’t have clean answers.
She is the author of four books published by Stanford University Press: Changing on the Job, Unlocking Leadership Mindtraps, Simple Habits for Complex Times (with Keith Johnston), and Unleash Your Complexity Genius (with Carolyn Coughlin). Her clients range from leaders stepping into their first C-suite role to organizations rethinking how they operate at scale, and her work moves between keynotes, executive coaching, and long-form leadership programs.
