Cordula Frei

Cordula Frei – Author, Editor, Voice Dialogue Senior Trainer, and Host of Roots of Enlivenment and Spaceholder for a Deep Ecology Transformation.

Cordula Frei is an internationally active author, eco-spiritual teacher, somatic and consciousness facilitator, and senior trainer over 30 years in Voice Dialogue whose work bridges psychology, deep ecology, embodiment, ritual practice, cultural transformation, and integrative thinking. She lives and works between the Southern Black Forest, Germany, and the Vogesen mountains, shaping approaches that help individuals and communities move from fragmentation and stress into lived presence, integrated self‑knowledge, and regenerative relationship with the world.

Cordula’s work is rooted in a vast arc of inquiry that weaves together inner experience, ecology, mythic imagination, nervous system awareness, and threshold psychology. Her approach is informed by decades of practice, study, pilgrimage through wild landscapes, and collaborative projects that bring ecological and cultural depth to personal transformation and collective change.

Her voice is heard across books, courses, editorial projects, podcasts, and dialogues that explore how human beings can live more enlivened, conscious, and mature lives in times of systemic disruption.

Themes and Focus

Cordula’s work navigates the intersections of somatic awareness, consciousness development, ecological belonging, ritual and mythic intelligence, psychological wholeness, and cultural evolution. She invites people to see inner transformations as deeply integrated with ecological and societal transformation, offering practices and perspectives that help individuals and collectives live with more integrity, presence, creativity, and resilience.

A very strong ground of her being is the work of Swiss-german cultural philosopher Jean Gebser.
