Violeta Bulc

Violeta Bulc is a Slovenian entrepreneur, systems innovator, and former European Commissioner for Transport whose work spans politics, business, sustainability, and consciousness. From 2014 to 2019 she served on the European Commission, where she championed sustainable mobility, digital transformation, and long-term systemic approaches to Europe’s future.

Before entering politics, Violeta built a successful career in telecommunications and entrepreneurship, leading innovation initiatives and founding companies focused on sustainable development and human-centered leadership. Throughout her career she has been guided by the conviction that lasting societal change requires both inner transformation and systemic innovation.

Today she is the founder and curator of  Ecocivilisation Lab, an international platform exploring regenerative futures and the emergence of what she calls an “ecocivilisation” – a society that lives in harmony with nature while fostering human creativity and flourishing. Her work brings together systems thinking, spirituality, feminine leadership, collective intelligence, and planetary consciousness.

A sought-after international speaker, Violeta invites us to see the current global crises not as signs of inevitable decline, but as birth pains of a new stage of human development. Her voice is both visionary and grounded, offering a hopeful and practical perspective on how humanity might consciously participate in creating a regenerative and life-affirming future.
